….when you can be an Optimist Prime. Sharon has been quite the Negatron since she got stitches which means she can’t workout as much as she would like. As luck would have it I found this image while making my way through the internet which helped brighten her day and mine as well! You can’t help but smile because Optimist Prime looks like he is having the time of his life.
Here it is! The first of many comics (I hope). To give a little more context to the comic, Sharon enjoys going to kickbox classes but what she loves even more is showing me the new punches and kicks she has learned….every…single…time. It’s really interesting observing different fightning techniques as my main fighting experience has only been in boxing. However, I am not as lucky or smart as my cartoon counterpart when it comes to wearing adequate protection. Here is how the converstation played out:
Sharon: I just learned how to do great push kicks! Can I demonstrate?
Me: Sure! What am I supposed to do?
Sharon: Well you stand there and I am going to kick you in the stomach as hard as I possibly can!
Me: umm…so..do I get pads or anything?
Sharon: Here use this pillow….
Needless to say there is a reason why pillows are not used as training pads in the gym.
The bears Sharon mentioned are finally completed! It took a couple of hours of back breaking work but we were able to transform my old socks into things that somewhat look like teddy bears. Check them out!
I have been debating on whether or not I should post articles about arguments Shar and I have had. It is incredibly personal but at the same time our intention was to create this blog as a record of our relationship and arguments are apart of it. If you have been following our twitter account @365daysofusblog we mentioned that I will soon be putting out comics. There has been a slight delay but do not fear the first one will be posted next week! I am definitely not able to write as much as my lovely girlfriend but I thought I would update everyone with what is going on. Shar had a safe (but long) flight to Hong Kong.
